What are the hours of Tulsa Bone and Joint Orthopaedic Urgent Care?

  • Walk-ins are accepted Monday through Friday, noon - 7:30 pm, and on Saturdays 8:00 am to noon.

Is an appointment necessary?

  • An appointment is not necessary. The Orthopaedic Urgent Care is open for acute orthopaedic injuries.

Is follow up care available?

  • Yes, follow up care is available. If required, follow up care will normally be scheduled within 48 hours of your initial visit.

What is a Physician Assistant?

  • Part of the U.S. healthcare system since the 1960’s, Physician Assistants (PAs), are licensed or certified health professionals who provide medical services under the supervision of a physician. PAs can both diagnose and treat injuries and work in partnership with our physicians, ensuring  that patients are provided with efficient and effective care.

Can a Physician Assistant prescribe medications?

  • PAs are authorized to write and sign some prescriptions without a physician co-signature.

Where is surgery performed?

  • Surgery is performed at St John’s Main Medical Center, St John’s Broken Arrow, St Francis South and Tulsa Bone & Joint Union Pines Surgery Center.
